It seems like such a long time ago I came home from curbshopping with this haul.
Hmm, that could be ‘cause it WAS a long time ago!
I had to go wayyyy back in my picture files to find this.
So what’s the point?
Just……bear with me here.
The offer was 30% off during the month of February!
Well I went right over and bought this 24 inch clock face (along with a few other goodies)!

You see, I just knew I had a table top somewhere that would be the perfect size for this vinyl.
I spray painted the table top heirloom white, sanded it back a bit, then applied the vinyl.
It was a bit trickier than I thought it would be.
In retrospect taking off the entire backing at once before I started to apply the vinyl was probably a very bad idea!
But I persevered (and peeled off numbers that stuck in places they weren’t supposed to)
Once I got the vinyl centered on the circle it was very easy to rub it on and peel back the top paper.
It was a little too bright for me so I rubbed some walnut gel-stain all over the face to age it a bit more.
Right now it’s leaning on my mantel.
I’m trying to decide whether to let it lean or hang it on the wall somewhere.
Don’t hold your breath.
It will probably stay right where it is for a long time!
Gee, I wonder if Laura makes vinyl's big enough to make a clock face out of this weathered plywood I found last year?
I suppose I’ll have to do this one the hard way.
That project will have to wait for another day.
