K.I.S.S. (Bobbi’s Grandchildren's Grotto )

While at the Garden Gallery Show and Sale last month I fell in love with this feature in Bobbi’s garden.

I’ll try to keep this short to qualify for Keep it Short Saturday. Don’t hold me to it though, k?

My friend Linda and I had a ball going through this cave of bushes.

There were 3 different entrances/exits.

The center point was high enough for me to stand up without ducking.

I spent a good deal of time in here, wishing I were one of Bobbi’s grandchildren.

Seriously, this was the coolest garden feature I have ever seen.  It captured my imagination and made me wish to be a kid again with all my heart.

Can’t you just picture hot summer days spent hidden in here with a good book and a glass of lemonade?  (and maybe a pillow)

I so want one of these for myself!

Be sure to check out my other Garden Gallery feature posts.  Bobbi and Sandy’s annual show and sale is simply amazing with all their talent showcased in Bobbi’s beautiful gardens.  Just click the link above or the Garden Gallery Sale in the label section on the sidebar to bring up all related posts.

If you would like to be added to their mailing list or simply have a question, you can e-mail them at agardengallery@yahoo.com

They are 2 of the nicest, most gracious, and talented ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet!

Thanks again Bobbi, for letting me play in your grandchildren’s grotto.  They sure are lucky kids to have a grandma as nice as you.

  10. This is wonderful! We used to play in a similar place when I was a child...inside a huge old lilac hedge..we even had some shelves (boards) across the old branches to hold our treasures.
