KISS (Keep it Short Saturday) Fan Planter

Fans come in pretty handy this time of the year.

061

They’re really great for keeping us cool.

072

When they break, do you throw them out?

Next time you might want to rethink that.

017

Take a broken bentwood coat tree.  The base on this one was still in good shape.

038-1

Painted my favorite red.037

Add a fan cage lined with a cocoa liner mat and some plants.

038

Makes a great planter.

(Sorry the pictures aren’t better.  I made this for a garden themed bridal shower last year.  The plants inside were part of the gift, to be planted later. I didn’t think to take a picture until after the shower.)

Have a Happy Saturday!

I’m linking this to Funky Junk Interiors Saturday Night Special # 32 junk themed party!

  14. rose, this is fantastic! Cathy and I had the bentwood (broken) coat rack, but got tired of it being in the way, and ditched it! :) I should know better than to throw something out!
